Frequently Asked Questions   Q: This looks pretty punk. Is UGGLIES just a punk thing? A. Nope; we want this to incorporate all types of music. We realize there are certain implications using the words, "independent" and "electric" but, that's just because that's the type of music we're coming from. But we want to encourage women and girls to play music, write, speak-out, etc...regardless of the genre they choose!   Q: Are you against playing with guys? A: No. There are some really wonderful, supportive guys in this community, we want to play with and support those kind of guys as well. UGGLIES isn’t about excluding boys...it’s about fulfilling our own individual potential as lady-ass-kickin-musicians, artists, dj’s, zinesters, what have you. However...we are against lame ass boys who don’t think girls can / should play, rap, scream... etc...   Q: How do I get my event listed on the Events Calendar? A. There's a neat form linked on the Events Calendar; click the link, fill in as much detail as you can, and click SUBMIT. Your event will be listed as soon as possible.
